What is Candideck?

Candideck takes the hard work out of sifting through online job postings by comparing your unique resume against the job descriptions of the positions companies are trying to fill. Then by using an advanced algorithm, Candideck provides you with a sorted list of jobs that fit your unique resume each day allowing you to more quickly apply to the ones that fit your experience.

How does Candideck work?

Everything starts with the job criteria. Candideck uses this every night to find the newly posted jobs based off the keyword, location, search radius, and pulls that all together with the remote jobs as well.

Then our algorithm compares your unique resume against all the job descriptions to identify how well the two match. These results are then sorted from high to low giving the best matches first.

Finally, you can use the filters to find the unique job for you and keep track of which roles you have applied for, liked, or disliked by voting on each job. This helps Candideck the next time it runs to ensure you are always getting relevant matches to what you are looking for!

How do the voting buttons work?

tells Candideck that you have applied for this job! This job will disappear from your list after the nightly refresh of jobs because you have already applied for it.

means that you like the job but haven't applied for it yet. This job will stay on your list for up to 7 days depending on when Candideck first saw the position, so be sure to apply quickly.

shows that you do not like this role or that the role may not be available any longer. After the nightly refresh, this job will be removed from your list making room for better fitting positions.

allows you to reset your vote if needed.

I saw a job that I liked yesterday, but today I can't find it. Where did it go?

We have determined that the optimal number of days to keep a job on Candideck is 7 days. This is because after this the odds that the job posting will be removed increase dramatically. Limiting the number of days helps ensure that the jobs shown on Candideck are available for you to apply. So, if you find a job you like, be sure to apply to it!

I found a job that is expired. Why is it no longer available?

We do our best to keep expired jobs off of Candideck, but you may still see some in the ever-changing job environment. If you do find a job that is expired or not available downvote the position to let us know. This will remove the job from you list when the algorithm refreshes overnight.
